delivery of Finance Group Reporting support to the business(es) and countries assigned to the role
support of timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes in accordance with the Group Reporting Manual and any other relevant standards and provide support for other Group reporting requirements such as Balance Sheet Integrity, Intercompany reconciliations and Group Charges
working on complex or difficult accounting areas requiring extensive experience in order to ensure the correct reporting and accounting treatment
looking for opportunities to drive process improvements, working with the relevant people to put these in place
acting as a focal point within the team providing guidance and support to other team members and providing cover for the Team Leader in times of absence

For a Senior Financial Accountantrole we have the following requirements:University or college degree or other educational background in Finance/Accounting

Support Business clients in understanding their General Ledger and Group reporting
Ensure timely and accurate Group Accounts submissions and drive for consistent improvement of key Key Performance Indicators (Post Gait Adjustments; Intercompany differences) and higher quality Group Accounts reviews
Provide support for Statutory accounts audit and filing and Tax computation preparation, filing and related audits and queries

Work with the BSC Internal Control team to maintain Control Evaluation Templates owned within the team current, perform periodic self-assessment activities and facilitate internal and external audit review
Deal with Outsourced Service Providers where applicable and act as point of escalation for issues between businesses and IBM

Being accountable for the production of monthly, quarterly and annual financial actuals to comply with local country fiscal regulations and Finance Standards and Practices, ensuring a robust control environment exists
Managing the interface with related roles performed in the Outsourced Service Provider and external audit
Being accountable for building capability and supporting change within the Group Reporting team in the drive for exceptional customer service, operational excellence & compliance

• The GBSE RTR vision is underpinned with efficient and standardised finance processes that are aligned with the Global RTR Process roadmap. The RTR Process expert supports in a systematic way the management and improvement of the E2E RTR processes focusing on Accounting and GSD related activities. Role synopsis
The GBS Procurement Team places and manages third party orders on behalf of BP businesses. The team also undertakes a range of other activities (e.g. data gathering / management) enabling orders to be processed efficiently.
The Procurement Coordinator within this process is accountable for the following:
• Process requisitions, place orders for goods and services
• Monitor orders until the invoice is processed by Accounts Payable and the supplier is paid

The GBS Procurement Team places and manages third party orders on behalf of BP businesses. The team also undertakes a range of other activities (e.g. data gathering / management) enabling orders to be processed efficiently.
The Procurement Coordinator within this process is accountable for the following:
• Process requisitions, place orders for goods and services
• Monitor orders until the invoice is processed by Accounts Payable and the supplier is paid
• Resolve invoice payment issues through detailed analysis, root cause investigations
• Support the Procure to Pay process by providing required inputs and contribute to relevant projects.
Key accountabilities
• Manage and execute daily procurement transactions by managing requisitions, purchase orders, change orders and supplier validation
• Manage direct spend to preferred suppliers while documenting exceptions and escalating as needed
• Maintain up to date lists of BP Buyers and Invoice Approvers
• Responsible for creating and analyzing data
• Manage the resolution of invoices pending payment by performing detailed analysis to identify root cause of issue prohibiting invoice payment
• Responsible for working cross functionally and as “One Team†to successfully complete projects and other GBS initiatives
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities
• Meet or exceed SLA targets as defined in the SLA framework
• Maintaining up to date procedures and manuals as per ISO requirements
• Raise an immediate issue should any concern come to light regarding the ability of a supplier to meet BP HSSE standards
Essential Education
• Bachelors’ degree in Finance, Business or Supply Chain or equivalent experience is required
• Fluency in English language is essential

• 1 - 3 years of business experience in Procurement / Supply chain or Finance field experience, gained preferably in a multinational environment
• Strong analytical skills, Excel knowledge
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle etc.) is an advantage.

delivering Finance Group Reporting support to the business(es) and countries assigned to the role.
resolving queries and issues, carrying out the month end close processes in a timely and accurate manner and carrying out balance sheet reconciliation
supporting intercompany processes / Group recharges processes where relevant
If you join us as a Senior Financial Accountant you may have the followingresponsibilities:delivery of Finance Group Reporting support to the business(es) and countries assigned to the role
support of timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes in accordance with the Group Reporting Manual and any other relevant standards and provide support for other Group reporting requirements such as Balance Sheet Integrity, Intercompany reconciliations and Group Charges
working on complex or difficult accounting areas requiring extensive experience in order to ensure the correct reporting and accounting treatment
looking for opportunities to drive process improvements, working with the relevant people to put these in place
acting as a focal point within the team providing guidance and support to other team members and providing cover for the Team Leader in times of absence
As a Junior / Senior Financial Accountant you will make a significant impact by:ensuring financial compliance by following accounting policies
supporting the creation of BP’s financial statement
being the face and voice of one of the largest global energy company
For a Financial Accountantrole we have the following requirements:University or college degree or other educational background in Finance/Accounting
0-2 year experience in related Finance area for a junior position, 5-6 years’ experience in related Finance area for a senior position
Fluency in English, additional European language knowledge is an advantage
SAP knowledge is an advantage
Strong level of analytical skills, numeracy and financial awareness
Customer- and service-oriented thinking, good communication and cooperation skills
Additional requirements for a senior role:readiness for action and ability to work under pressure
self-confident appearance in relations to the internal and external contacts

BP is establishing a new Business Service Centre (“BSCâ€) location in Szeged which provides Finance, Customer Service and Operational Procurement services to all Downstream businesses in Europe. The BSC provides the opportunity to combine activities dispersed across different locations, and support the standardization and simplification of processes in one location. The new BSC site is starting operations in 2017, along with the Budapest site which, opened in 2009 and has 1200 employees. We are looking for experienced professionals to contribute to our success.
