In addition, the successful candidate will have the opportunity, based experience and development desires, to lead supplier performance reviews, manage a railcar fleet including external / internal interfaces, and/or participate in freight rate negotiations. Key accountabilities Develop thorough analysis of options/cases for key negotiations and projects, create the spreadsheet model and financials with sensitivities, summarize with a recommendation, and then create the decision support package presentation for business management to review, challenge, and approve. Complete recurring and ad hoc commercial analyses for both Truck and Rail activity for BP businesses in North America. Identify opportunities for supply chain efficiency/effectiveness and process simplification. Lead the effort to make a step-change in team’s reporting analytics through technology and automation. Leverage BP’s data lake environment through applications such as Tableau and Power Bi to enable streamlined dashboards (e.g. supplier and financial performance) with drill-down capabilities as well as powerful near real-time operational information for schedulers. Manage the current the Rail freight rate database. Maintain data and inputs, create reports, identify rates with potential savings opportunities and distribute fuel surcharge monthly reports. Role synopsis US Pipelines and Logistics (USPL) owns and operates midstream assets throughout the Midwest, Pacific Northwest and Gulf of Mexico. The Inspection Manager leads a team of team leaders responsible for all areas of the USPL Integrity Management Program. These integrity management programs are critical to maintaining safe, compliant, and reliable operations that enable success within Fuels North America. This role involves leadership in the office as well as leadership in the field to ensure key messages are delivered to all levels of the organization and employees are informed and engaged. The Inspection Manager is a member of the EPIC (Engineering, Projects, Inspection, Construction, and Compliance) Leadership Team. The Inspection Manager has full people and budget responsibility over his/her organization. The successful candidate will have strong leadership capabilities and be versed in various piping codes, storage tanks, corrosion mechanisms, inspection techniques, and repair methods as they relate to USPL assets.
