Role synopsis
Occupational Health Nursing is the specialty of nursing practice that focuses on the work environment, the worker, and the business context to promote health, prevent illness and injury, protect workers from risks associated with occupational health hazards, recommend placement of workers in jobs suited to their psychological and physical health status, and restore workers health in a safe and healthy work environment. This job description is intended to provide an overview of the position and does not include all the tasks that might be required to provide support for your area job requirements.
Key accountabilities
Provide, monitor and evaluate a wide range of occupational health services. Provide health expertise to functional groups (HR, Legal, Procurement), HSSE, Emergency Response and Leadership as required.
Develop a health promotion strategy and initiatives in support of; the public health agenda, specific occupational health risks and disease prevalence.
Formulate, review and update Health Center procedures and policies.
Provide management with information on the health status of the workforce and utilization of services.
Develop and maintain an effective scheduling program for regulatory evaluations and other occupational services for employees.
Conduct health assessments (job specific, pre-employment etc.) and health surveillance.
Coordinate and/or perform OSHA required audiometric tests, pulmonary function exams; respirator fit testing and medical management of BP Hearing Conservation Program and BP Respirator Program.
Develop and provide health training such as office ergonomics, blood borne pathogens, fatigue management, and health promotion initiatives.
Assist when necessary with treatments and advice including the rehabilitation of employees following sickness/injury.
Working knowledge of case management for Short Term Disability, Family Medical Leave, Workers Compensation, and ADA.
Advise personnel, HR and managers on aspects of sickness absence and rehabilitation.
Be familiar and current with state and federal regulations effecting occupational health (i.e. OSHA) or laws that affect the work place such as FMLA, HIPAA, and ADA. Monitor and advise management on Group Health updates
Provide consultancy for potential occupational illnesses and injuries, which are monitored and reported upon as appropriate.
Compile correspondence and reports to managers and external agencies.
Compile and securely maintain accurate individual medical records, calibration records and all log books to comply with company and statutory requirements.
Counseling of employees with referral to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) or other resources when appropriate.
Develop links and working arrangements with external EAP providers for specialist psycho-social support and psychological emergencies.
Make recommendations on resource, capability and capacity of health teams/function.
Oversee Health Center budget/s and a range of external contracts and consultancy.
Input and recall personnel data on a health database and compile statistical data.
Manage and maintain all required Health Center pharmacy and testing license, maintain all medical testing equipment, including EMR interfaces.
Provide travel health and immunization advice to employees.Conduct pre-employment, random and follow-up drug and alcohol tests.
Essential Education

Registered Nurse (RN) – licensed in the state of Ohio or able to secure Ohio licensure
Demonstrated ability in occupational health ( working knowledge with FML, case management, etc.)

Role synopsis
The primary purpose of the HR Manager is to define and lead delivery of the people plan that enables the business to achieve its goals.
The role holder operates as a member of a business leadership team acting as a strategic business partner providing business driven insights to support decision making and determine appropriate global / business wide interventions. The Process Engineer is the process technical adviser for an operating area. The Turnaround Engineering Lead (TEL) plays a vital role in the maintenance & reliability initiatives of Toledo Refinery. As part of the Maintenance team, the TEL identifies and designs improvement ideas, and provides mechanical technical support to the refinery as needed. The TEL plays a key role in improving Operations and Reliability performance and is expected to identify, design, implement, and troubleshoot improvement ideas and manage assigned projects. Key accountabilities
Requires familiarity of and compliance with various practices, codes, standards, EPA and OSHA regulations.
Requires close networking with Operations, Inspection, Maintenance-Reliability, Process Engineering and Capital Projects to recognize and evaluate improvement initiatives, provide input, and drive decision making with stakeholders.
Performs technical and economic analysis to justify improvements, quantify benefits, and recommend priorities.
Provides mechanical technical support to turnaround stakeholders during scope development and execution. This may include assisting Planning and Execution personnel in defining work scope or working with Reliability and Inspection on root cause failure analysis.
Manages assigned projects, including achievement of objectives in the areas of HSSE, quality, schedule and cost.
Understands and is compliant with all Control of Work (CoW) and Process Safety policies and procedures.
Designs, procures, resources and executes assigned projects utilizing and directing consultants and other technical teams in a cost-effective manner. Leads technical team in the preparation of detailed scopes of work and job packages.
Develops technical scopes of work, material takeoffs, and bid documents to sharpen turnaround scope definition.
Works closely with Planning and Scheduling to ensure projects are fully planned and scheduled based on accurate priorities. Provides input to Planning on resource requirements, including the need for special skills. Ensures Planning and Scheduling are fully informed of changes with the plan or schedule.
Fully documents in a timely manner any changes resulting from assigned improvement projects, including drawing updates, equipment updates, parts lists, procedural changes and repair histories. Ensures timely training of appropriate area personnel regarding assigned projects.
Leads process safety reviews of projects to ensure they are installed in a safe manner consistent with process unit requirements, loss control guidelines, regulatory requirements, industry codes and company practices. Responsible for following the Management of Change (MOC) procedure for all assigned mechanical changes and projects. Participates in HAZOP evaluations.
Provides technical leadership and guidance in the scope completions process at the close of turnaround execution.
Conducts post-implementation audits, documents results, and contributes lessons learned in the evaluation of turnaround and project performance.

The Turnaround Engineering Lead (TEL) plays a vital role in the maintenance & reliability initiatives of Toledo Refinery. As part of the Maintenance team, the TEL identifies and designs improvement ideas, and provides mechanical technical support to the refinery as needed. The TEL plays a key role in improving Operations and Reliability performance and is expected to identify, design, implement, and troubleshoot improvement ideas and manage assigned projects. Key accountabilities
Requires familiarity of and compliance with various practices, codes, standards, EPA and OSHA regulations.
Requires close networking with Operations, Inspection, Maintenance-Reliability, Process Engineering and Capital Projects to recognize and evaluate improvement initiatives, provide input, and drive decision making with stakeholders.
Performs technical and economic analysis to justify improvements, quantify benefits, and recommend priorities.
Provides mechanical technical support to turnaround stakeholders during scope development and execution. This may include assisting Planning and Execution personnel in defining work scope or working with Reliability and Inspection on root cause failure analysis.
Manages assigned projects, including achievement of objectives in the areas of HSSE, quality, schedule and cost.
Understands and is compliant with all Control of Work (CoW) and Process Safety policies and procedures.
Designs, procures, resources and executes assigned projects utilizing and directing consultants and other technical teams in a cost-effective manner. Leads technical team in the preparation of detailed scopes of work and job packages.
Develops technical scopes of work, material takeoffs, and bid documents to sharpen turnaround scope definition.
Works closely with Planning and Scheduling to ensure projects are fully planned and scheduled based on accurate priorities. Provides input to Planning on resource requirements, including the need for special skills. Ensures Planning and Scheduling are fully informed of changes with the plan or schedule.
Fully documents in a timely manner any changes resulting from assigned improvement projects, including drawing updates, equipment updates, parts lists, procedural changes and repair histories. Ensures timely training of appropriate area personnel regarding assigned projects.
Leads process safety reviews of projects to ensure they are installed in a safe manner consistent with process unit requirements, loss control guidelines, regulatory requirements, industry codes and company practices. Responsible for following the Management of Change (MOC) procedure for all assigned mechanical changes and projects. Participates in HAZOP evaluations.
Provides technical leadership and guidance in the scope completions process at the close of turnaround execution.
Conducts post-implementation audits, documents results, and contributes lessons learned in the evaluation of turnaround and project performance.

Role synopsis
The Process Engineer is the process technical adviser for an operating area. They provide unbiased technical evaluations of process issues to continuously improve the safety, reliability, and business performance of the refinery operations. The incumbent participates in a continual process of learning and engineering capability development over a 3-5 year period. Role synopsis
The Process Engineer is the process technical adviser for an operating area. They provide unbiased technical evaluations of process issues to continuously improve the safety, reliability, and business performance of the refinery operations. The incumbent participates in a continual process of learning and engineering capability development over a 3-5 year period. This summary is meant to be an overall job description and does not include all tasks that might be required for the position.
Key accountabilities
Monitor equipment and process. Provide trouble-shooting expertise to Operations and Optimization
Provides process engineering support to the refinery within defined areas of accountability. They provide technical expertise to achieve the safe, reliable and optimal operations of their assigned process through the appropriate application of process engineering, process control and process technology.
Ensure that the technical input required for proper target setting is available on a daily basis
Ensure that equipment performance is being reflected in the optimization targets.
Provide input and recommendations to assist Operations in prioritizing maintenance to ensure maximum commercial performance
Optimize variable costs by leveraging technical knowledge and a proactive approach to energy management
Analyze variance between the commercial plan and actual performance and assist the optimization team in closing the variance
Evaluate catalyst options and make selection recommendations, monitor performance and schedule optimal replacement
Participates in HazOps and LOPAs
Participate in incident investigations
Provide technical support and leadership on product quality issues and identify opportunities
Support reporting and verification activities for safety and environmental compliance (Title V) and Flare Subpart JA
Provide technical review of procedures
Provide mentoring to peers, optimization and Operations personnel on technical subjects. Assist in technical training
Maintain current knowledge of technology specialty
Embed best practices and industry advancements at Toledo
Conduct regular plant tests and heat & mass balances to maintain accurate models and identify deterioration of the asset capability
Support the innovation process in the business unit by identifying and initiating growth and innovation projects
Provide technical input into Capital Projects as requested
Understands and is compliant with all Control of Work (CoW) and Process Safety policies and procedures
Ensure safe operating limits and availability operating envelopes are understood. Investigates and resolves recurring SOLs/SDLs exceedances. Initiate and lead Management of Change (MOCs) and Process Safety Minimum Expectations (PSME) gap analysis
Identify and justify TAR scope
Support TAR planning and execution
Participate in their relevant CIF activities
Essential Education
Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering
Essential experience and job requirements
Preferred: 3+ years of work experience in a refinery
