Overview
This position reports to the Tax & Royalty Supervisor within the Accounting Organization and will be responsible for coordinating external tax and royalty audits, compliance reviews, and data mining requests for the Company’s US assets. This position will interface regularly with Revenue Accounting, Production Reporting, Land and Legal. The incumbent will need to demonstrate strong problem solving, organizational, communication, and collaboration skills and a high level of initiative to realize department deliverables and goals within aggressive deadlines.
Responsibilities
Coordinate audits with regulatory agencies
Ensure timely responses to regulatory requests
Effectively lead audit conferences and walk-throughs
Work with Revenue, Marketing, Land, and others to gather documents for audit requests
Understand the field setup and flow and revenue bookings that flow into the tax and royalty reports
Possess superior knowledge and understanding of tax and royalty regulations and stay abreast of new regulations
Maintain positive working relationships with the tax and royalty regulatory agencies
Work with Supervisor and Lead Accountants on complex tasks and projects
Interact with other departmental personnel to improve departmental communication
Possess strong knowledge of tax and royalty reporting and share that knowledge with others
Demonstrate initiative in seeking additional responsibility
Assist in developing and promoting sound recommendations that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the department

The SEC Reporting Manager will be primarily responsible for leading the preparation of the Company's SEC filings. This will require proficient knowledge of SEC rules and regulations and understanding of the E&P industry and accounting requirements. In addition, person will be required to research best practices in the industry and propose enhancements to the document. The position will also work closely with Investor Relations and Internal/External Communications group and Legal for quarterly filings and other press release materials. Applicant must be able to direct the SEC Reporting team to meet critical deadlines on a consistent basis.
Responsibilities:
Lead the preparation and review processes of Company’s SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, etc.).
Supervise accounting analysts on the team, delegating appropriately, and providing leadership and development to subordinates.
Coordination of SEC review process with company management.
Become recognized internal subject matter expert on E&P accounting and SEC best practices.
Track and document implications of new SEC regulations
Liaison with Company’s external auditors
Ability to effectively prioritize work, establish and execute plans to meet tight deadlines, multi-task, and work under pressure with a strong attention to details is required.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Role synopsis
The Commodity Risk Analyst role will report to the Commodity Risk Valuations and BMI Lead. The Valuations and BMI team is an integral part of the Commodity Risk team and overall Finance organization. The position will assist in the delivery of quality management information (MI) to the business within a robust reporting framework, whilst supporting a One Finance approach.
The primary function of the Valuation & BMI analyst is to support the valuation of trading assets and liabilities in accordance with the Independent Price Verification policy. Role synopsis
The Commodity Risk Analyst role will report to the Commodity Risk Valuations and BMI Lead. The Valuations and BMI team is an integral part of the Commodity Risk team and overall Finance organization. The position will assist in the delivery of quality management information (MI) to the business within a robust reporting framework, whilst supporting a One Finance approach.

Role synopsis
The Marine Manager Oil USAwill play a key role in providing assurance to BP Fleet Operations, BP businesses and affiliates for marine-related activities. This will be conducted by leading a marine functional team who will undertake a combination of routine marine assurance assessments/inspections and supervising and performing audit and inspection activity in the region.

1.Management and continuous improvement of the day-to-day delivery of regional assessment & inspection services, including the consistent delivery of assessments/inspections of oil, gas and chemical vessels, owners/managers and terminal facilities, as applicable, to the requirement of the Vetting & Clearance team and Operating Management System in order that compliance with relevant standards and/or suitability for use by BP may be accurately assessed.
2.Provide input and offer professional opinion on the maintenance and future development of the integrated Marine Assurance System (iMAS) and the Marine Assurance Manual (Working Practices).
3.Oversee and undertake other regional Marine Activities including assessments of marine related services and service providers, e.g. STS service providers, Dry bulk vessels, Tug, Launch providers, Oil Spill Response vessels, passenger vessels etc.
4.Management and development of the regional support and assessment marine Superintendents and Alaska based superintendent.
5.Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
6.Ensuring balance of demand and supply of regional marine resources
7.Working in collaboration with the other regional managers and the Global Marine Oil Manager, contribute to a centre of marine expertise for BPS and BP Group. Role synopsis
We are seeking a highly motivated, self-starting engineer with a growth mind set and track record of exceptional delivery in a dynamic work environment. You will work across the designated Business Unit to support continuous improvement efforts to drive efficiency, productivity, optimization, and quality by assessing, prioritizing, and leading continuous improvement projects that derive the greatest value to the business.
Key accountabilities
Utilize data sets to identify trends and areas in need of RCFA’s and/or continuous improvement projects
Oversee and lead projects for improvement across all levels of the organization
Develop project plan and ensure performance metrics are collected, tracked, and reported on a consistent basis
Support, coach, and champion growing organizational capabilities associated with organizational continuous improvement
You are willing to travel to the field approximately 25 percent of the time to meet with key partners regarding product development.
Essential Education
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or STEM related fields required
Essential experience and job requirements
Strong interpersonal and communication skills: ability to communicate concisely and accurately across an entire organization ranging from upper management to field personnel
Experience leading projects with Agile/Scrum/Lean methodologies
Demonstrated experience and/or continuous improvement certification
